OUR PHILOSOPHY
Worth Investment Group is an evergreen private investment firm focused on the lower middle market. Since 2009 we have acquired and held profitable manufacturers, distributors, and service businesses across North America.
We are not in the business of financial engineering or quick flips. We are in the business of building enduring value alongside the management teams and owners who created these companies — underwriting the downside first, and holding for the long term.

THE WORTH LENS
DISCIPLINE - PROPRIETARY - PERMANENT
DISCIPLINE
Entry price
Entry price is the one thing you fully control. When capital is abundant and impatient, the temptation is to pay up to win. We'd rather lose the deal.
PROPRIETARY
Direct from owners
We don't compete in the auctions setting 12x prints. We buy directly from owners — a conversation about legacy and trust, not just price.
PERMANENT
No fund clock
No fund that has to be spent or sold by a certain date. That freedom is worth the most precisely when everyone else feels rushed.
This is why realistic valuations and disciplined entry prices remain the foundation of every investment we make.

THIS MONTH
The supply is the story.
Founder-led and multigenerational companies are one of the most active sources of deal flow into the back half of 2026. A trillion dollars of impatient capital next to a growing wave of retiring owners creates both opportunity and risk.
Discipline stops being a slogan and becomes the only thing that protects returns.

LEADERSHIP & TEAM
M. Eric Boorom
Eric founded Worth on a simple thesis: acquire well-run middle-market businesses directly from the owners who built them, and hold them permanently with active operational partnership. Across his career he has participated in more than $1.5 billion of transactions since 1996.
His career began not on the buy side but in credit, workouts, and turnarounds, years spent understanding how businesses break before he ever bought one. He served in the special assignments group at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and as a credit analyst at ABN AMRO / LaSalle National Bank, and has provided expert testimony on business valuation in U.S. Bankruptcy Court. That discipline, underwriting the downside first, runs through everything Worth owns today.
Eric holds a B.S. in Finance from the Eli Broad School of Business at Michigan State University and completed the ABN AMRO North American Credit Training Program. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, AIMR, the Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals, and INSOL International. He is a certified private pilot, land and sea.
